Here's What I Want To Know:

So. when the whole monica lewinsky thing was going on my grandmother (a republican) bitched about two main things:

1) while clinton was getting his dick sucked, lewinsky could have been anything. she could have been a chinese spy and we could have lost quite a lot... because of a couple blowjobs.
2) that clinton decided to, in one of his many speeches about this situation, attempted to define the word "is"

my grandmother was elluding to the fact that clinton was stupid, that democrats were stupid, and that he should be impeached (in which i believed as well, what corporate exec gets to keep thier job after sexual relations with underlings? why should the prez get to keep the job?).

but when i say to her that i believe that gw bush is a fucking moron she fights for him. even though he has said such things as "For every fatal shooting, there were roughly three non-fatal shootings. And, folks, this is unacceptable in America. It's just unacceptable. And we're going to do something about it." and i quote him to my grandmother. and i say to her "where are the weapons or mass destruction that he was talking about? u know, the ones he started the war over"

to which she replys "the desert is a big place." but as far as i know, they're not even looking any more.

because bush has " an eck-a-lec-tic reading list"

so, i think both bush and clinton were stupid in their own ways. but republicans and democrats are actually the stupidest ones, because when what they want is in office, no evil can be done in government.

when i asked grandma how she would feel if bush annuled her marriage just because it wasn't a real marriage, she just shook her head and said "how would u like to live in a place where u can't make decisions for yourself"

now that wasn't an answer that i wanted, but, can gay people wake up in the morning and decide they want to get married? no. that would feel terrible. and i do know, that this is happening here in america, not just in dictatorships around the world.

so people are, in a democracy, at times not able to make decisions for themselves. they are told that they are wrong and sinful.

but since when is everyone in america christian? and since when do we all have to follow thier damn rules?
