so. i don't understand the pledge of alligance or why we should have to say it in school (not that i'm in school or anything but... hey) because i'm not going to pledge my allegiance to a flag. i mean, it's a flag. i would rather pledge my allegiance to my country.
my dad say's "it's a symbol of the united states." and that's fine and dandy but again... why should i pledge my allegiance to a symbol...
when i could pledge my allegiance to my country.
