Rearranging

we have a loft. it's full of our craft stuff, and our computer. my sewing desk, his drafting table and tracing light and all his old drawings in portfolio things from back in school everywhere. art books and well, just everything.

everything was arranged in a circle lining the walls and there was lots of open space in the floor.

now everything is arranged so there are three smaller "rooms" in the loft. since we got the new tv, the old one has been sitting up there with a promise of the ability to sew and watch a movie, or play my old video game decks... so there's the "office" where the computer is. it's a little cubby in the corner and it's got pillows and blankets so u can veg on the floor and play a game on the cpu.

then there's the tv corner where i can also do stupid little crafts, like scrapbooking or small cutting for patterns.

and then there's the sewing corner, and matt's drawing corner (which needs a book case... something we seem to never have enough of)

and i realize that while this is great and everything, it looks cool and cozy and i totally want to have it finished so i can start using all the different "rooms" - i made it cluttered. before there was a ton of extra room and now... now the loft seems much smaller.

i am drawn to clutter and i cannot escape. i will never escape.
